Injury Update on Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City’s winning run  ended at Crystal Palace on New Year’s Eve , but more worryingly for  Pep Guardiola  was the sight of two of his star players in agony at Selhurst Park during the 0-0 draw. Gabriel Jesus  limped off in the first half in tears after hurting his knee in a challenge with  Andros Townsend  early in the game, while  Kevin De Bruyne  was carried off on a stretcher after a lunging tackle from  Jason Puncheon  in stoppage time saw both players carried off. SERAP to Buhari: Withdraw board appointment Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to “withdraw without further delay the list of appointments to the boards of agencies and parastatals in order to remove a clear and recognizable danger to the integrity of these bodies, and allow the civil service systems to carry out the appointments, in strict conformity with established rules and Nigeria’s international anticorruption obligations and commitments.” Buhari had on Friday approved the constitution of the governing boards of agencies and parastatals, appointing 209 chairmen and 1258 members to fill the board positions. However, it has been discovered that at least 8 members on the list have since passed away. Among others, Buhari appointed Rev. Femi Fani-Kayode talks on Appointment Made by President Muhammad Buhari

Ex-aviation minister, Chief Olufemi Fani Kayode has attacked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing a late Senator as the chairman of the Nigerian Press Council. FFK stated in a post on social media, said that the President’s ‘Dementia has gone viral’ after learning of the appointment of late Francis Okpozo as the chairman of the NPC.  The PDP chieftain wrote; “ First you forgot your own age. Then you appoint an 81 year old who drawls, who can barely walk and who wears clothes from the 1940’s as our Ambassador to the U.S.A. And now you appoint a man who died one year ago, Sen. Francis Okposo, as Chairman of the Press Council. Your dementia has gone viral !”
